Unhappy 1996 Mustang GT timing problem

Hello, I just bought a 1996 Mustang GT, the driver side Camshaft and timing chain / sprocket sheered off and separated, which is how i got such a deal. Essentially the little key that fits into the sprocket from the camshaft sheered off and the engine spun while leaving the driver side camshaft and valves at a standstill.
I got a new camshaft from another non PI 4.6L v8 at the junkyard, but I need to figure out how I can re time the valves correctly? Should I try to figure something out by finding Top dead center on the passenger side, then use the firing order to get cylinder #5 to the top?(after taking the driver side camshaft off, which would get all valves out of the way) I can post pictures if needed, I really need some help.

Aren't the NPI engines also an interference design, as like the PI engines? If so, start looking for a new one.

A new head at the very least, and surprised he didn't make four more threads on it...
