I'm replacing my fuel pump on my 96 GT and ordered some new straps too as mine are very rusted and gross looking. Well when I climbed under I realized that my straps have 3 bolts but the straps I got from Rock auto has 2 bolts and are matching straps. I did some research and it seems I have a 98-2004 gas tank? Whats more confusing is I was watching a chrisfix video on replacing the fuel pump on his 98 Mustang and saw that he has the 2 bolt strap kind. I looked up all the different brands of straps you can buy and the 3 bolt kind is listed as 98-04 and the two bolt is listed as 81-97.

Does anyone have any insight to this? I'm assuming I just need to order a set of the "98-04" ones.
