Idle surging problem
When I first start my car before it warms up it will idle fine just like any other cold start revs fine but after about 5-10 minutes it starts idle surging and running terribly unless I crack the throttle and hold it at a set rpm but still as soon as you give it a quick rev it seems like it’s leaning out, any suggestions?

check/clean IAC valve, clean throttle body, unhook the battery for a while and then try it again. if you dont understand what i just said then take it somewhere... could be 5 different things or nothing

It would be helpful to know some background. Is this a new problem? How is the car driven? Is it a daily driver, a weekend cruiser, or a garage queen?
As Whitefox said, the Idle Air Controller is a common cause of this type of issue. It will usually respond to cleaning with spray-type carb cleaner. Really an easy , but if you don't know your way with basic hand tools you are better off taking it to a mechanic.
