Cracked heater hose

Cracked heater hose
Got to work today and noticed steam coming out from under the hood on the passenger side. There is a hairline crack near the quick disconnect by the firewall. I know I need to just replace the hose, but my question is, is there a way I could patch this up just so I could make it home? 20 mi trip. Picture for reference. I believe the hose with the issue is the supply side. I tried some electrical tape, but I'm pretty sure that's not going to hold.

Yeah no, electrical tape will not hold.
What did with a pin hole in a plastic radiator side tank? I let it cool down
so there was no pressure in the system. Cleaned, Sanded, and cleaned
the area around the hole. Then applied JB WaterWeld, and it held for six
months that I know of. I traded the Jeep in for a Charger, so I have no idea
if or when it failed.
However, I believe you only need to replace that hose, the fitting is on the hose
and and snaps on to the heater core:

Yes, I know you have a V8, but just find the equivalent part, same end, different shaped hose.

So this may seem a little backwoods of a jeri rig, but had no choice. So I ended up leaving the electrical tape. Found some black rtv and put that on over it. Found a plastic bag and put that over that and zip tied the ends. Lol, and taking some jugs of water for my 20 mile trip...
