Default Lighten Sn95

I have a 96 mustang cobra conv. I am just getting started on a major project and am wondering where i can save some weight. I know of quite a few places already that i plan to save some weight but i am looking for more ideas that i havent thought of or heard of.

Aluminum driveshaft and flywheel,engine block,rear seats,passenger seat,lighter battery,relocate battery to trunk,carbon fiber hood,remove A/C and heater core,remove windshield,side windows,and back glass and replace with plexiglass.Remove stereo,headlights,carpet,airbags,mirrors,power steering,and spare tire/jack.

pull the bumper covers off and then toss the real bumpers in the trash know one will ever notice.
then you can cut the crash bars out of the doors that is worth about 30 or 40 lbs. pull all the sound deadening out of the car toss the carpet in the trash go to the parts store buy some of that cheap carpet and a can of spray adhesive. doesn't look as good but you will save some serious wieght of coarse seats electric seats are really heavy.

get a fiberglass hard top and ditch all the convertable ****. like the motor and all the brackets and the tarp and you should be about the same weight maybe a little more than a coupe
