2001 gt wont start

My 2001 gt will not start. It turns over but does not even act like it wants to crank. It ran fine 2 days ago when I parked it. I have always had a minor problem getting it to run after it sat for awhile. Would start on the second start try but now it will not run. I checked the under hood fuses and the reset switch in the trunk and they are good. The theft light is flashing about every second when the key is not in the ignition but I think its supposed to do that. I do not think its a fuel issue because I sprayed starting fluid in the throttle body and still not starting. Any help I will be thankful for.

Found the problem. It was the fuel pump shut off switch that is in the trunk. The switch was not tripped, the button was still in the run position. I unplugged the wires and ran a jumper wire across the plug and the car started right up. So I just connected the two wires together bypassing the switch and took the car for a ride. Starts up every time again now. Anyone know if these switches have a history of going bad or is this just a fluke?
