The oil pressure looks a little low also. My car the needle stays past the half way point.

I already cleaned and replaced the IAC during my weeks of troubleshooting so it is good. I believe the issue is related more to the automatic ECU trying to make adjustments to the IAC when it shouldn't, thus causing my weird drivability issues. Unplugging it caused it to run great except Idol is that about 1100 but that is fine by me.

and as far as the oil pressure gauge, from what I understand it's more of an on-off gauge and as long as it doesn't read 0 you have good pressure.

Wait, are you still trying to run the car with an automatic PCM/ECU? What happened to the correct manual one?

Yes I was. The new correct ecu wouldn't run the car because it was missing the transceiver. But it's all good now!

Final update :
I went this morning to the junkyard and pulled the PATS module, transceiver from a 96. The codes didn't match up completely but i called Ford and they said it was compatible. They wouldn't cut me keys because the car is too old I guess. I just called a locksmith and he came and cut me 2 new keys and programmed for $150 and she runs!!!!

Haven't driven her yet but she's good to go. Thanks for the help guys.

Thank you for the update. Glad to see it's running properly now.(?) Hopefully your experience and posting of the solution will help someone else in the future!
