Built Cylinder Heads application for supercharger

I am need of some help. I have a forged rotating assembly, and i have a V-2 Vortech Supercharger. have been calling all over to ask for an experts opinion but they all keep saying that "trick flow" is the only choice for upgraded heads. ive seen the patriot heads and ive priced some complete heads with cam included and is also ported for around the $2800 range. there is no budget, i just need answers, Can you help me?!

the answer is the trick flow heads are the only "different" heads you can buy. The patriot and other "stage" (1,2,3 i hate that term) heads are all factory ford castings with port/cnc work done to them. Pick a set that fits your application and budget and make sure you spec the proper cam and valvetrain components. if theres no budget order two sets of whatever you decide and just ship one my direction thanks

Patriot (who is no longer in business) suffered some relatively common QC issues with their heads. Something about valve guides and/or seats as I recall. Assuming you pick up a set at the right price you could always drop them off at a machine shop to have those issues verified and corrected.

There are other options for ported PI castings, Fox Lake being one of them. Think MHS still does them too.

As far as Trick Flow, they are arguably the best heads money can buy for these engines. No common quality related issues that I'm aware of.
