Cool Stock TPMS sensors with Aftermarket Reader?

Hello all, I drive a 1999 Mustang GT, and I recently bought a pair of OEM 20" wheels/tires off a 2018 GT premium. They have Ford TPMS sensors installed. My question is, I know there are a lot of aftermarket TPMS displays that come with their own LCD screens to display the pressure at each tire, but is anyone aware of one or another product that will allow me to use the sensors in these tires? My car, being a '99, of course does not have an in-dash reader. I really would rather not have to take the tires off and install a different sensor, and I'm really not a fan on the ones that replace the stem cap.

Thanks in advance!

20" wheels on a 99? And you only bought two of them? Alrighty then.....

If the aftermarket monitor can read the frequency of the OEM tire sensors you should be able to use it. You'll have to do some research as to what that frequency is and then verify that the monitor manufacturer will indeed work with it.

Well I found a solution; maybe it will help someone else. The product is made by Huf, and is designed to read the stock TPMS sensors (which are 315 mHz). Not cheap, but now my 1999 GT can read each tires pressure, so I'm happy.

available on Amazon and some auto stores online.
