I have a C&L MAF sensor housing. what happens is it runs like its going from lean to rich. then when i let the rpms drop when coasting to a stop on the highway it died. the tube inside it is black for 19lb injectors. i heared that some people clean there MAF sensor with carb cleaner and seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions before i do this.

You need to clean it with Electronics cleaner. Brake parts cleaner may damage it. What color are your injectors? Orange or pink?
