All they do is raise the octane rating. They do NOT increase HP at all...it requires more heat to ignite also. It will do absolutely nothing for performance on your GT.

It does more for cleaning out your system then it does for your performance.

The only reason to use octane booster is if you have high compression and experience detonation problems with pump gas. Otherwise it's a waste of money.

Yes I've used it before and it's worthless. In fact in my car the cheap gas runs just as fine as the expensive stuff. Chevron with techron is golden for me though. It's by far my favorite. I think there is an old post about gas octanes and things. If you feel a difference then go with it, if you don't then don't waste the money. All cars are different with mods and things.

You don't need more octane unless your running more compression or more timing advance, otherwise your wasting your money, however if you need to raise you octane and want to do it the cheap way get some toluene, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than the s**t in the can and is basically the same, do a search for it and it will tell you how much to use. but for know just run 93 if your chip is set up to give you 14 degrees of advance, once you get not more than that you'll ned more octane but i believe thats what the chips give you. You may or may not hear an audible preignition ping.

tolune?....that is some flammable **** used it in making paints and mastic
years ago we mix 3 gal of 93 and 1 gal of leaded came out to 95
I use 93 ammco and 1 bottle of nos booster for my s/c car
89 is the perfered gas with 14 degrees timing

using 93 will not clean up pistons
higher octange is a measure of burn rate over an area
so 93 will burn at a slower more even rate than 87 so more compression and spark is need to burn 93
