Default Caster Camber Plates

What are the benefits or c/c plates; also, will buying them help reduce uneven tire wear? And where do i go to get them properly adjusted and aligned?

you won't need them unless you have made extensive suspention changes like lowering coilovers ect.... you just need to find a good alignment shop.

I have Eibach Sportline springs that dropped my car around 2", and let me tell you I need C&C plates among other suspension mods to get my handling back.

how much are you lowered.

they say there is enought adjustment in the stock suspention to do up to a 1 3/4" drop. I don't know the shop i worked at didn't do lowered cars. if it is 2" you will need the caster camber plates. and see if you can find a shop that has a life time warrenty on alighments (then you can go in every 10k miles or so and have them reset every thing.

Did the handling drastically change after installing your springs? If so look into it. If it feels about the same, I wouldnt worry to much about it.

Better alignment. The stock suspension setup doesn't allow for ANY caster changes, only the camber or toe as it's more commonly known as. With a 1.5" drop you should still be able to adjust for toe enough to be in spec..but for caster....

99-04 Mustangs suck **** in the tracking department, meaning they follow every rut in the road. That's because the center point of the strut plate (caster) is almost directly above the control arm instead of at an angle. Ever wonder why your car seems to never track straight on a bumpy road? That's why.

If the car can't be aligned to spec without the CC plates then yes, they will help with uneven tire wear. You may want to look at a better alignment shop too to see if maybe your current shop just doesn't know what they're doing.

Okay I have seen CC plates at teamshinoda.com and because my 96 stang came with Boss Shinoda decals I was really interested in their CC plates. But, it sounds like I would need to do some suspension mods like maybee........tokico struts and eibach springs, then get the CC plates for them to make a handling difference. Is that right?

Stiffer springs and different shocks/struts will make it handle better anyways. the CC plates are to help you get the best handling out of the setup. Zero caster or whatever Mustangs have stock (not sure of pre 99) are great for quick turning response but suck for straight ahead or bumpy handling.
