well i jus picked up my mustang gt a few days ago and im ready to start modding it. First i would like a nice exhuast system. I want a really loud and deep tone from my system. What should i get?? Ive heard Holley Flowtechs sound nice and also the Flowmaster SUper 40 series. What do u guys think?

Flows are good IMO. Then get a mid pipe along with some 4.10 gears.

Well whatever. Loud IMO isnt always good. Cops really dont like that s***. And sometimes doesnt sound good depending what set up you have. I would rather go with something that is deep but kinda loud at WOT. The flows that I have deliver that very well. With my mid pipe. Everyone knows when im on my way home around here.

didnt you use to have magnaflows and a Xpipe? If you did, did you ever hear the Hpipe with the magnaflows?

No, I had the magnaflow catted xpipe. First with LM`s then with the flowmasters. Never had the magnaflows. According to the Hpipe and magnaflows, ive heard that it sounds pretty good but havent heard it in person.

I have the Mangaflows with the Mac pro-chamber and love the sound. I will hopefully be getting BBK tuned length shortys soon to complete the exhaust. (no need to tell me about long tube vs. shortys I know all about it and want the shortys, end of story)

like what they said---flows will give you a DEEP rumble sound but isnt all that loud if you run it through your whole exhaust, i have 1 chambers on my car and have them turned down after my h pipe...if you do that and put an x pipe on it instead i think youll be satisfied. i also have headers too, so if you can afford to get those.... long tubes will give you a deeper sound.
