Default RE: Stock to Full Exhaust Suggestions

Ok guys heres what Im looking at:
SLP and Bassani headers seem to be a little out of my price range... Unless you guys think I should completely forget about headers for now and really spend some serious money on these brand headers at a later point in time?

Otherswise Im looking at BBK or MAC Headers? Which brand is better?

Also one other question.. Does size of the pipes matter? And the more curves in the pipe the better sound/performance or worse?

Thanks.

the ceramic BBK longtubes are an excellent choice. Top notch quality and very competitively priced at about $399 vs. 500+ for the bassani's and 600+ for the SLP's.... Go to BBKPerformance.com and they should have a list of vendors on their website. I know that www.brothersperformance.com sells BBK headers and shorty X's and H's to match. If you are going with an off-road Mid pipe as you said above, I would suggest the BBk for that as well as all the off-road pipes are the same (for the H's anyway). Some of the X's are stamped differently however. I will swear by my magnaflows, but obviously it's not what you are looking for, they are pretty quiet if not undetectable at idle, I happen to like that. Good luck and post sound clips!

Yea Im not paying the high prices for their name, BBK is just as good. But where the hell did you find LT Ceramic BBK Headers for $399... PLEASE PLEASE let me know. The best prices I have found them for is $429 and I have looked EVERYWHERE. I would love to save the money..

it'll cost you well above 1200s to get the longtubes and the full exhaust. Long tubes are a pain in the S to put on and will be hard to work on other components once you do. But its your choice man, If not for the money i would have the same set up. Longtubes, bbk xpipe and slp loudmouth 2. Actually an H pipe would make it sound deeper and same HP increases
