ive got a vortech at 10psi with an aftercooler on it... it comes with a blow off valve/bypass valve stock btw..... im wondering though, am i able to install a louder blow off valve and can i vent it to the atmosphere without problems?

sure, you can install a new BOV. i was thinking about doing that too. i like the sound our bypass valve makes when you let off. that nice little PSSHHHHT. not loud enough though.
i'm running 10psi non-after/intercooled vortech.
what kind of numbers you putting down with that with the aftercooler and the tb/plenum?

jk i was wondering the same thing cuz i love that sound especially when i go to the track and theres about 30 srt-4s there and they all have it (comes stock on there car). though i thought you lose power with one? but imagine a srt-4 or evo or sti and they rev and have their little bov and then you rev back and they hear it. i think they would shat their pants lol
