Im wanting to purchase cams for my car here in aboue a month. Ill also be gettin 3.73 gear and a flowmaster exhaust system. The thing is i dont know much about cams or what brands are good. So could yall reccommed some good cams that will give me a good performance boost? Thanks

If your otherwise stock cams arent going to do much for you. You would need aftermarket heads or a port and polishing of the stock heads + a full exhaust to see any major gains. Also, informing us what year is your car and what do you have done to your car already would help.

its a 01 gt.....i just got it a week ago and the mods i will have are a flowmaster american thunder exhuast kit and 3.73 gears. thats it.

I would definately hold up on the cams and make that one of the last things you will do, like until you have all the other bolt ons covered. Your not going to see the kind of gains like you do in the camaros and firebirds on an otherwise stock GT.

Also ditch the 3.73s. Buy 4.10s.
