exhaust making funny sound

I noticed that when my car is cold and i step on the gas a "tin can" sound is coming from the back end. It only does it for a minute or two and then stops. It does not happen when the cat is just idoling. I have had the exhaust on for almost a year .

aftermarket exhaust?

mine does it too.....but only when the weather is cold.

it's a magna flow catback. And I am in Florida and it's not cold. I don't like my car sounding like shi*.[&o]

Mine sounds similar to that when its cold. It seems the warmer the engine gets, the better it sounds. I dont think it has anything to do with cold weather. Its just when car hasnt been driven for a while and the car is cool it sounds like that at first.
