Hey all well this isnt my car a good friend of mine this happend to this punk in a civic si came ot his house n was like wanna race he was like surrre goes out to rt nails it 1st 2ND 3Rd just revin real high and nothing happend 4th nothig happend he snapped a f*cking fork and some other s**t but he still had the si by a car when he had no 3rd or 4th when he realized lol any reasons y it did that?

Boy, talk about priorities. I totally raped my transmission from the inside out, but I spanked the other guy! Hope he has about $1,300 stashed away for a rebuild. The T45 wasn't built for competition...think TKO if you wanna play hard.

Yeah it works great if you can afford it. A good shop will rebuild a transmission better than stock, because in the case of a T45, the synchros and shift forks are weak points and should be replaced with stronger units. About the TKO though, it is much stronger than a T45 and therefore will withstand a lot more abuse, and can be had for about the same price as a rebuild, between $1,000-$1,500. It will bolt right up too, so you don't need to modify anything. My suggestion is if your friend wants to beat on his car like that, he should invest in quality components that are able to handle the abuse.</P>
