Default BOMZ intake

is it worth the 61 bucks? all i have right now is a k&n drop in filter... is it worth it or save my nickels and dimes and get a better one?

I say save and buy better. I had the ebay knockoff of the BOMZ and replaced it after 3-4 months. You want to avoid turns in the tube before the MAF sensor, as it causes turbulence. I have the Steeda and love it. I hear other recommend the tunable induction or the K&N FIPK2. Also, remove the useless screen in your MAF. It causes restriction, too. I will slide out when you disconnect the stock parts from the MAF.

Keep the drop in. You won't see better gains from the BOMZ.
