Lowering

Im looking into lowering my mustang..the rear end is just too high for me and i want to level it out and drop the whole car a couple inches..i want to spend as little as money as possible. Should i cut the springs? Should i use some spring tensioners? Or buy new springs? Can someone show me some pictures along with the brand of springs, the amount costed, and the amount lowered..thanks alot guys

RE: Lowering

I have those springs on my '04. I didn't get the drop I expected, but I understand that the older models do. I did the install with a friend in about 3 hours, but I have access to good tools. If you do drop it, you need to correct the steering geometry. If only an inch or so, then an alignment is all you may need. 1.5+ drops need hardware. C&C plates, bumpsteers kit, and/or offset rack bushing. You can use any or all three in combo.

If you want more info and pics, drop pm me.
