8 is about the highest you should go, a couple people run 9psi, but they spent a lot of time on a dyno and tuning..

i dont know where these guys are getting these low #'s from, but ive seen documentedcases of an aftercooled kenne bell on a 4.6 2 valve,with 15psi.it had511whp, and 520wheel ft lbs torque

you can boost up to 15 psi, but your riding a time bomb, way to much compresion without forged internals
