Congrats on the SLP. 2 of my buddies have the same system on their Mustangs and they liked the power increase they saw. But I wouldn't recommend an aftermarket o/r pipe. Get a catted H or X because you'll lose your sound quality a ton w/o cats. My buddies both have o/r H's and they sound like weedwackers... [:@] But if you get Hi-Flow Cats, your sould quality will still be awesome as well as your power!

do your friends drive hondas?
with DUBS on them....

So I take it getting LM1's with a catted x-pipe and LT's is gonna be insanely loud? Cant wait to get the money for all of this.

I think after any drive longer than 5 minutes in a car with that setup and your hearing would be destroyed forever. It would be too loud I think and extremely annoying after awhile.

And exactly what he said^^ Some people like to hear that V8 , I don't really care if my ears bleed I love the noise. I just feel bad for my neighbors - But my neighborhood is tight.

Idont think youve ever rode in a car with a loud exhaust for more than 5 minutes after reading your response. If your cruising around 65+ mph for any distance you get a headache because its so loud in your car that you cant think. I LOVE having a loud car but I wouldnt get that setup unless i only drove it short distances on the weekend, NOT for a daily driver.

Im only 18, So yea I drive it daily, but it is relatively short distances. Plus the fact I know for a fact because I have magnaflows on it now, but I heard all the "Flows" make such a droning sound that its almost just as unbearable as the LM1 noise...

I rather have a loud noise, than that annoying drone I get now even with the replacement magnapack.

I have heard it is loud, So I am going to talk to some performance shops in my area.. But I am not afraid..

Plus I download a 97 GT with the setup I want.. and it is the clearest video/sound I have ever heard, and yeah its loud as hell, but it doesnt seem unbearable.. But thats why I gotta talk to some people...

I like the sound of the LMII's that I installed.
What will be the difference if I switch from the original equipment H-pipe to a catted X-pipe?
What is a good price for a catted X-pipe, and from where?
I'm working on my Christmas list.
Thanks.

Major difference is going to be a little bit of HP gain, probably 6 rwhp, and a pretty good difference in noise level.

As far as prices, you really have to snoop around to get the best prices... thats what Ive been doing. Im going with an o/r X, so I found some around $140, but if your going with a Catted X, I would say some of the prices I have seen (depending on the brand of course) but anywhere from $250-400. Although you could probably find one (depending on the brand) around $200 if your real good at price gauging
