Default SLP LM1's Installed!!!

Well, I received my exhaust today and they sound nice,With the stock H pipe there not overly loud just right for my taste.Fit and finish made it a pleasure to install and they look superb.I drove it than put it back on the stands and retightened everything again due to expansion and contraction. My question should I do this procedure more than once??The instructions indicated do it one time and I know it wouldn't hurt to do it again but I'm on the couch now and getting lazy by the minute.

if it makes you feel better, sure, you can try to. man, you need to get a new midpipe on there. it really wakes up the LM1s. i had it with the magnaflow catted X. it made it a lot deeper and louder than stock, but didn't make your ears bleed like an off road H or anything.

Yeah, midpipe is on my future mod list but with the stock h pipe it sounds alot nicer than stock.I'm happy for now you know how that goes.I have to work my neighbors into tolerating louder db's slowly considering I often times work midnights...poor neighbors
4.10 gears are next...Going to wait a week than retighten.

That's because LM's were pretty much made for an x-pipe...man do they sound awesome with an x-pipe. This makes me want to go listen to my car now.

yeah drive your car around for a while then tighten them. a week sounds good. make sure you do it when the exhaust is cold so you get it tight and so you dont burn

Congrats on the SLP. 2 of my buddies have the same system on their Mustangs and they liked the power increase they saw. But I wouldn't recommend an aftermarket o/r pipe. Get a catted H or X because you'll lose your sound quality a ton w/o cats. My buddies both have o/r H's and they sound like weedwackers... [:@] But if you get Hi-Flow Cats, your sould quality will still be awesome as well as your power!
