Exhaust...
Allright so i got lm1s, and a bassani o/r x pipe... and no offense to anyone who likes that (raspy, ear piercing sound) but its not for me and unfortunalty i dont have much money at the moment... so i need to do 1 of 2 things.... my first choice was the easiest and cheapest 1. buy high flow cats and put those on?? but i dont know if thats gonna change the tone at all or atleast just quite it down a little.... 2. was sell my slp lm1's they barley have 100 miles on them... and buy a bassani cat back... that i know will work but i wont have the money for that for about a month

RE: Exhaust...
Hmm that stinks man.. I dont have my LM's on yet, but I love the raspy sound of em.
Anyway, the Hi-Flow Cats are not going to tone it down any really. They are designed to be "Hi-Flow" and don't have any restriction. So that is probably not going to tone them down enough for your liking.
A prochamber or an H-pipe may tone it down enough, that gives it a deeper sound and much less raspyness like that of an o/r X.
But unfortunately your 2nd option is probably going to be your best bet. Selling the LM's and getting another cat-back that is known for not being as loud.
Good luck with what you choose.

RE: Exhaust...
just go buy the slp loudmouth 2 resonators and have a shop weld them in. you'll love the sound of those with your off road x. you can just go to slp's site and check em out. that'll be your fastest way to get it solved and be a little bit cheaper than getting a whole new cat-back.
