Hey everyone, I just recently bought a 1996 mustang gt. I just wanted to know what should be the first mods I should do to get the most hp? What are the best bolt ons and engine mods? Can you please provide me with a good list of things that I should consider?

Gears and PI swap.

gears, intake, exhaust. not really in that order. the PI swap would be hot, but that's not a very cheap thing to do. be cheaper to buy a nitrous kit and get more power out of that.

well he never said any kind of price range so why not go for the swap and then nitrous that car up.

Ok....if price is not a big deal then PI head swap should be number 1. But if you are strapped for cash like most of us then gears and exhaust. The gears will give the best performance gain for acceleration and 1/4 mile times. Exhaust just makes it sound badass![8D] It will give you some hp but not that much. Start there and you won't be dissapointed.
