Lowering shouldn't be an issue if you only go 1.5in. Any lower, & I don't know.

yeah, max 1.5 ", any lower will be crossing into the lowrider/ricer world..

Not neccessarily. If you autocross in your daily driver and don't want the harsh ride of coil overs, you can get a lower stance with progressively wound coils. This helps maintain a stock like cruising ride, yet offers more resistance when pushed harder as well as a lower ride.
Everything's got it's place as long as it's got a practicle reason behind it.

me personally I like the sound of a H pipe gives it a more deeper sound, the X is alright just sounds like a bumble bee but whatever works, I have BBK Long Tubes with the H pipe and flowmasters.

The MAC long tubes I have heard cause a lot of problems. I am thinking of just keeping my BBK's and putting the MAC cat-back on I think that would e pretty nice I have a friend with a 98 Cobra(blower car) with that setup and it sounds nice.

RE: 99 4.6 Long Tube Headers?
If your going to install LT headers and do a lowering kit, you better be worried about clearnace. I cringe every time I go over a sharp bump or accidently have something on the road pass under my car.
BTW LTs are not the easyest project to install. If you dont have a way to get the car up in the air, preferably standing hieght, forget it. You also are REQUIRED to lift the engine, they simply wont go in without doing it.

RE: 99 4.6 Long Tube Headers?
Im dropped about 1.5 and have mac longtubes (fit great by the way and the welds were nice on mine - but the coating does SUCK), havent drove much since lowering it but it never was a problem before, and doesnt appear to be a problem now that its lowered - but still too early to tell. As far as longtube installation - I did it in my home garage and it was a cinch - but I removed the k-member though. I hear the BBK midlengths can be installed with moderate difficulty without removing the k-member.
