Hasn't happened to me yet but it did to a guy i work with. He has a Mercury Mountaineer with a 6-disc, and I'm assuming it's the same as our changers since it's a Ford product. He took it to a Ford dealer and the dealer said that it happens a lot on the 6 disc changers. The guy told me that if I ever get mine stuck and need to take it in to the dealer, make sure that it isn't a CD-R or CD-RW stuck in there, for some reason the warranty doesn't cover them if the changer is damaged. Could be BS but just an FYI.

you should get another system, the 460 systems arent very goot at all, esp the deck as you can tell, it will keep doing it until it wont work at all

i have a 2000 460 system and i've had a few small problems with it but i hardly think it's a bad system.......it sounds great.

but i put a cd in the other day and there was nothing but gibberish on the display and no buttons on the CD player or the tape deck would do anything. i turned the car off and started it again and it was fine.
