You wont get any horspower gains, if thats what you mean. But the gear ratios are soooo much better than the 5 speed that came stock in your car.

make sure you get the viper spec t56, it has a lower final ratio then the t56 out of a cobra.

thing is comming up with 2500$. my heater hose disaster leaves me with no heat again for winter, so i might have to pickup a beater.

I don't see anywhere in his post where he hints at hoping to get HP gains. He meant the tranny can handle more hp/tq.
