BBK chrome LT headers

RE: BBK chrome LT headers
well... ceramic stays alittle cooler.. but the ceramic will last 2 times longer than the other... if you do the header job yourself.. it would be ok to get the chrome.. but if you have it done, it may get costly over time.

i wouldn't waste time or money on the chrome headers. they will rust really badly and they heat up badly. i would just spend the extra $200 bucks and get ceramic or get ceramic MAC LT's for about $330. unless you wanna spend money and get them wrapped them up in that header stuff they sell that wraps around the headers to keep them cool.

Installing the longtubes are a pain in the a$$. Give your self about 8 hours, (no joking) to install them. I installed mine, no I have a problem with an exhaust leak on my passenger side. I have to replace the gasket. the bolts are very difficult to get too. some have a 1 1/2" to stick your hand through, you cant use a toque wrench on most of them so you have to tighten them blindly. But you will save money in the long run. Good Luck. I would get the ceramic LT, its too much of a pain to replace them if you decide on the ceramic later.
