Default Best Bang for the Buck Supercharger?

This spring I am planning on supercharging my 03 gt. I was wondering what you guys thought was the best bang for the buck supercharger. I know the Kenne Bell is the best, but I dont really feel like spending 6 grand on a supercharger. I was thinking about a vortech or procharger? What do you guys think? Thanks -Kyle

Kenne bell is not necessarily the best. My personal favorite but not the best. Look into a used vortech. Usually get those for around 2k-3k.

Used vortech, used paxton, used procharger, used anything will be cheap just be sure you're getting everything else you need to put it on, too.

Vortech is cheaper but procharger is better. Vortechs are good though.

Steeda has an entire kit for either vortech SQ trim or Paxton Novi 2000 for around $4,900. http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog...rgerSystem.htm
I know it's around 5 grand, but it is EVERYTHING you could need to make sure the s/c runs right :-p

that a big judgemengt call. im actually looking at sed kits but like people have aready said if you dont have all the parts you could spend more money, or the thing could be busted and your stuck with a 3k pile of metal. just safely assume your gonna spend about 5-6k, barring any crazy deals people have gotten. this includes all installation and good day on the dyno. i almost cried when i researched this because i thought 4k would do the trick

what do you base that on? the pro chargers being better that is. and as far as i've seen, they're about the same price for their standard kits. except the pro charger comes with an intercooler.

vortechs have the better name... i was gonna go procharger before cause i liked the front mount and no oil tapping idea but then i got a aftercooled vortech.

Prochargers are better on the track. They are awesome s/c for the strip.
