Ram air intake

If you just removed your headlight you will get fresh cold air, but it wont be ram air. For ram air to work you need to funnel the air into like a box, so the air gets compressed and shoved into the motor. With just removing the headlight, the air will flow by the air intake, no compression will take place.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. You take off the silencer on your stock air box and put that peice that they give you on there along with the piping and funnel. You can also make your own, I am going to make my own eventually, and use a air bypass vavle like the imports use on there ram air kits.
So is this ram air better than lets say a K&N CAI as far as performance gains?

What about the WMS ram air system? I just saw it on anouhter post and it looks like it would add some boost...Do you know anything about those?

Thats wms ram air kit is only for the 05 mustang.
