Default NEED INFO ON BRAKES

Need new brakes but want to buy a set that arent going to squeek and squill. what are good brands out their for the gt and also what comes on the gts factory. oh yeah and maybe a set with no brake dust would be a bonus..thanks

they have ceramic brakes...but there pretty expensive, it your brakes squeek and squill, it probably doesnt have much to do with the brake pads, look at your rotors for any grooves or uneven wear..in that case have them resurfaced or just buy new ones, i think i found some at autozone for 20 bucks a piece. As far as brake dust, ceramic. I had squeeky brakes, so i replaced my rotors and bought the cheapest pads and there perfect.

lifetime brakes...or metallic....will squeal more so then ceramic or organic pads. They will actually eat up your rotor faster which causes the noise. I had this problem and went with ceramic like the last guy said and no noise now.

It Depends on the level of performance you want. Any Pad rotor setup is going to make noise if they are dirty. For my car, I bought a set of IRotors and AXXIS pads and they work great. The only thing is they put out a lot of dust because the rotors are drilled and slotted.
