So i got a 96 cobra... exhaust is too quite so thats first...

but other than gears what would be the mods you guys think should be done first? which are best to do? and what are the brands u guys would say are best for the cobra and whatnot...

Magnapack catback, whatever mid-pipe you want...it'll help the 4v breathe...

the first 2 things i think should be done are short throw shifter, and exhaust. if you can afford the gears, which will probably be around 400-500 dollars after installation, then go with those.

or you can get lowering springs, but you'll have to watch the bumps. the springs are gonna cost about 150-200 depending on brand. don't get MAC springs, i did and it did not even lower my old car as much as the said they would. and install them yourself, will take a few hours, but will save you about 150 labor, i got charged 200 [:@] but watch out for bumps, i actually got hung up on a speedbump at work yesterday.

yea man i know about the bumps.. i live in NJ, the roads are NOT meant for lowered cars around where i am.... was thinkin about eibach(cant spell lol) sport springs to lower it 1 1/4 inch... yea exhuast will be done... gears not for a while... that im not worried about....

and i saw u got saleens!?!? OMG... i want those on mine.... yo when u put them on, take alot of pics... ur car is black, saleens are sick... your car is going to look BADASS!!!!!!
