Wow some high mileage cars for sure. But I was really looking for high mileage Mustang Gt's or Cobras. Lets face it we didn't buy these cars to go to shoprite. I've tried and it sucks, the trunk is crazy small. They are not really practical as general use cars, particularly if you live where it snows even a little bit. They are THE bargain as a sporty Gt car for sure though-especially convertibles. Most of these cars have been thrown a beating and raced here and there and mines no exception. I wouldn't drop the clutch and tear *** with lets say a Honda Accord sedan or something similar as often as I might with this car. By the way mine is white body/white vert top and the body is fantastic, a few nose chips from the highway and a few in the side spoiler ducts but nothing that looks awful at all. I do change the fluids when I just feel like it which is way before the scheduled intervals for trans and rear. I run Mobil 1 and don't want to start the oil debate but it obviously has worked for me. My alternator is even original and so are my hoses and radiator!! Air cond never touched and blows ice cubes. Very good car.

We had an 84 Buick Regal that had 285,000 miles on it. All original parts. Only thing that was wrong with it was the left back floor panel rotted out and it need new brakes. Other than that just needed a tune up to make it purr like a kitten.

I have seen the 4.6 run 200k miles easily...they motors are near bullet proof.
City driven police cars mileage average 3 times that of an ordinary vehicle wear and they run 80-100k miles with ease. Do the math...that is 240 - 300k miles of wear and tear.
