Traction control

Do most of you drive with the traction control on or off for normal everyday driving, dry pavement? Does it help in snow (not that my car will ever see snow)?

It overall sucks. I turn mine off when I remember too. Cant wait to get my tuner, then it will be off forever.

If you turn it off, does it automatically come on every time you restart the car?

i have traction control disabled on mine. it's always off and can't be turned off. if/when you get a handheld tuner, i suggest you do the same. ;)

RE: Traction control

instead of having to turn it off everytime you start the car, is it possible to rig a toggle switch to it so it stays on or off all the time? I will be winter-driving my car, so I imagine traction control will be an asset, but otherwise I'd like it off all the time without having to hit a button each time I start my car.

Heh-Heh.....he just said ASSet.....Heh-Heh-Heh

There is a device called a Trac-Adapt that sets the traction control default setting to off, yet allows it to be turned on if so desired. I did not so desire, so mine is turned off permanently with a flash tuner.
