Default 2v to 4v

Is it pratical to swap from a 2v to a 4v on a GT? If so i was looking at this new block, 4.6 4v big bore (306 ci) short block. Motor includes JE pistons/rings, HP Stroker crank, Eagle rods, ARP Main studs, Federal Mogul race bearings.

You would need alot of time and money for a swap like that. New computer and everything. Better off just trading for an 03/04 Cobra or Mach 1.

If you were to get a crate motor like the Mach 1 4V with 305hp you could pretty much just drop it in. You DO NOT NEED A NEW COMPUTER. I repeat http://cobrapoweredgt.com/ go there this guy has done over 100+ 2v to 4v swaps. He explains how to make the GT computer work and also has a very good detailed with pictures way to use existing harness.

You will need new headers and of course a 450 dollar tuner chip that he says that flashs your stuff to cobra settings.
