Ok.. so i made a previous post on how it leaked alot of oil recently.... WELL we raised it again and saw what is deff a nice sized problem... OK well... upon inspection.. my step dad found a crack/a pin sized hole in the oil filter housing... now we know on chryslers that the oil filter housing is connected to the block...

question is... is it connected to the block on my cobra? or can we replace it without replacing the block... can someone please give me some good news... PLLEAAASSEEE!!!!!!!

but why do i feel im gunna get worse news on this one... uhg... and we are also wondering... WHAT IN THE HELL... would cause that to happen... so what else is wrong with it...

Mine has a pin-sized hole in the oil filter housing too. I thought that's where my last oil leak was coming from, but as it turns out, it was coming from the oil cooler line directly above it, so the oil was running down the housing and made it look like it was coming from the filter housing. Scared me to death, i thought it made into the block too. I'm not sure if the little pin sized hole was there before or if it's supposed to be there. I didn't notice it until i was under my car lookin for the oil leak....but no oil leaks out of it.

Yeah, i was like 85% sure that my leak was coming from that hole or the seal around the adapter, b/c it looked like it was seeping outta there. I ended up taking mine to the stealership since i couldn't seem to fix it. I'm still just wondering if that little pin sized hole is supposed to be there, since i never noticed it before the leak...
