Yes, the Dallas Mustang Speedcal. Look it up. I bought it for my 96 Gt because I was told that it was more accurate than those cheap tooth gears. I also got mine from a vendor here, http://mustang.c-f-m.com/, It costs me 108 total with shipping. Yes, it can also fix your problem for different size tires.. That is all it does, gear and tire swaps. nothing more.

You actually run the speedcal box inside under the center console where the shifter is. Then you run the wires to the transmission and it is simple plug and go. Just follow the instructions.

I think the $15 gear may be a better deal than $100. Where does the gear actually go though? If it is only 15 bucks i think it is worth a shot at seeing if it works. But how much of a pain is it to install? where does it go.

I thought about the cheap gear too, but it is not going to get your speedo as correct as you would want from what I was told. With the speedcal, I am only 1 mph off on my speedo which is great. It is also worth it if you decide on changing your tires to possibly 18's and run a different aspect ratio of the tire. Or even different sizes than 245/45, 275/40, or 315/35 for the 17's. Believe me, I wanted to go cheap and get that speedo tooth gear, but I am now glad I got the speedcal.
