Dont go over 12 degrees because it hurts your 1/4 mile but helps in the 1/8 though. Change it back to around 8 degrees when normal driving because it needs the fuel
HUH???? WHAT? That sounds like magazine boy talk.

shut up! That's horrible advice! Not to mention 100% BS!

stock timing is 10 degrees, you can bump it up to 14 and be plenty safe if you are running 93 octane. Like mentioned before hand, play it safe and go 1 degree at a time. if you hear pinging, take it back 1 degree.

Without even changing your fuel, you could probably bump your timing 2-3 points. If you can get 93 octane, you should be able to bump it 5-6 points or more. You will pick up some top end.

15 degrees = 5 degrees above stock (10)

If we are still talking about the predator, then the timing adjustments only come into effect at WOT anyway.

If you want to REALLY adjust your timing you need a mechanical timing adjuster like steeda's and YES you can usually go to 14 or 15 degrees advance before you run into detonation on pump gas.

Default Need help

So I went to dyno my 01 cobra and I made 350 at the tires all motor N/A. So we added timing and we lost 30 HP but when we took away timing I gained HP... Can’t really figure out the problem cause usually you gain HP when you add timing lol. Any suggestions? My timing is at 17.
