The battery is charged fine it just doesn't catch like untill u crank for about 10-15 seconds and it will stutter start, then stall and it will do it once more and the third time it starts ands runs. help?!

RE: Hard start on cold mornings?
My 1997 gt will sometimes fire up and then die once on a real cold morning.
Normally after the second start it does great other then idling a little rough until it warms up a little.

first make sure all power is turned off ( lights, a/c, radio, etc.) check battery connection ( big issue) then plugs for better fire...thats the first thing i would do...mine used to do the same thing...but runnin great now ...but start by cleaning the connection and check for corrosion!! check back, and good luck

Thats just what happens when its cold out... nothing works right when its cold. Having a weak battery also doesnt help... you want to look at you Cold cranking amp rating... maybe its not sufficient enough for your area
