I dont like the 94-98 mustangs because I think they are very ugly.

hey dude, be proud of the car you have. me, personally, i like the 94-98 body style better. who cares if people talk trash about your car? YOU like it don't you? every year an automaker comes out with something new & improved. nature of the beast. whether you have 94-98, 99-04, the sound of the v8 mustang can't be beat. yeah, other cars may sound good, but the mustang sound is music to our ears! it's part of our culture. to have a v8 mustang is to have a piece of america itself. no car is perfect, nor have they had a perfect past. to me the mustang 2 sucked, but there are people who really love those cars! i'm just not one of them. the camaro guys really get me. i know the ls1 & so on is fast, but in 1982 the z-28 had a whopping 165 horsepower. as time goes on cars get faster. just remember this, no matter how fast a guys car is, there is ALWAYS someone with a faster car. 225 horse power doesn't seem like much now, but late 80's to early 90's fox body had 225 horses. then, they were THE car to beat around here. i had a 97 camaro 3.8 v6 5 speed that was a good car. good out of the hole, but ran out of breath pretty quick. i looked at a 98 z-28 but was turned off at the crappy sound it made when i started it up. have you looked at what you have to do just to change spark plugs? but the mustang, here was a car i could work on, with a huge aftermarket to support it when i got the money. anyway, enjoy your car because you like it. screw what someone else says!

Yeah, I like mine a lot. It does extremley well for what it is and I'm happy for that. Just wish they were granted more HP stock out of the factory [:@]

2 grand to be as fast as the 99-04 GT?? hahaha[&:] No, all it really takes is some gears and good DR's and you'll run will them easily. Trust me on this. From a roll...... the 99-04 GT has more hp is those upper RPMs.

Well I'm seriously considering getting either a 94-04 GT, or a 94-98 Cobra. But I already know that if I land a stock 94-98, I know I probably won't be happy because lets face the facts, Ford screwed over the GTs, and really Fed the sixers in the rear, man my car's accelleration sucks, this is why I'm considering a 94-98 Cobra, just so I can have a decent power band, but the 94-98s are the best to go with price wise, because you can spend the extra money to mod out the car and make it at least somewhat fast.

Dont get a 94-95 Cobra either there rated at i think 240 while the 96-98 Cobra is 305, and the 94-95 taillights suck ***.

I was just referring to about how much a pi swap generally costs...but yes there are cheaper ways of running with 99-04 GT's, like you said above.

i hear people talking **** about all stangs from like 74 all the way to 04. mostly the 94-04s though. dont worry about it, like everyone has said, nissan maximas and **** like that have as much hp or more than stock gts so even people with the 99+ get ****. most people dont buy a mustang to leave it stock though, and hp aint everything. i hate when people say that mustangs are cheap and everyone has one. so the **** what? you can say that about most cars out there. i actually love people that think every sn95 body stang is slow as dirt, cause those are the ones that **** themselves when they come across the ones with either pi swaps or engine swaps. i know its easier to buy a 99+, but you set your car apart from the rest by making it as good or better than the rest of them.

i actually like the 94-95 tailights better than mine. dont know why really, i think they just make the rear a little sleaker.
