Allright got a bit of a problem..... long story short... About three months ago this kid with what i thought was a stock civic hatchback wanted to race me when he found out i got a gt, well we have kind of been playin tag i geuss (when my cars in the shop his is ready when his is in the shop iam ready) .... well about 2 nights ago we were in my friends dakota rt (5.9) really nice, fast ect., he has exhaust, k&n fipk, and just everything in top shape (iridium plugs, new wires, nice tires) anyways we raced this kid in his truck, 40 mph role to 100 ... we beat him ... but not by much ..... maybe half a car, a car.... he wanted to race from a stop but my friend was to nervous... cops n **** .... well i found out today that he has it TOTALY striped 2 seats and carpet and a dash board .... and a b18 (gsr motor, out of a intergra) .... well we been talkin for a while now (ill kill you, no ill kill you bla bla...) and now iam a little more nervous and he said were going from a dig.... What do you think???? my mods: o/r x pipe and (slp powerflow will be here this weekend)...

PS: when i was stock i ran a 14.4 and spun pretty much the hole track (cheap street tires)

Toyo makes a new drag radial you might want to check out. I've been told that the tires alone make it feel like you've put $1000 into the suspension.

If your friends dakota pulled on it from a roll, then you will totally eat it alive from a dig.
(this is assuming that when you were with your friend, he had all his go fast parts done)

if he just finished the motor in the last two days (which i doubt, i must have over-read it) then it could be different, i know nothing about that motor

but like i said, Your Mustang>Friends Dakota> Kids Civic

Those Dakota's are turds. If you had a hard time walking away from even a modded Dakota you need to learn how to drive your car fast...

he raced the civic hatch as a passenger in his buddies dakota.... The dakota won, and he thinks he might lose to the civic in his GT even though the Dakota beat it. I htink that's what happened[X(][X(]
