I read online that the 0-60 time on an auto v8 mustang from the 99-04 series was 6.9 sec!!! I mean, I know it's going to be slower than a standard transmission but the 99 GT stock runs like a 5.5 according to this (seen below) site. Is this true?

Complete bullsh!t. Even stock 96-98 auto GT's will run 0-60 in 5.8 or less

A 94-96 Automatic GT will not do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, try mid to high 6's.

And unless traction is 100% saying a 99-04 GT will do 0-60 in 5.5 is giving it alot of credit.

no its not that bull sh**, the 99-04's are 0-60 in 5.5, and i ran that stock, a few mods, and im at a 5 flat...not hard at all

this coming from a guy that says everything about a Cobalt SS is 'conservative' but then saying GT numbers are giving too much credit... that makes sense. Hypocritical dontcha think? Of course not..

What the hell does this mean?

A) I hope you don't mean 94-96 = 99-04

B) The 94-95 had the 5.0 but was very similar in performance to the 96-98 4.6
