cruise question

do the words on your cruise control buttons light up? i can't remember if they ever did in my car or not but they do not now.

my girlfriend brought it to my attention when she told me that one side of the ones in the truck are out.

the buttons are the same so i assume they are supposed to but i seriously can't remember and i don't want to look like a tard when i take it in to make them fix them.....(i don't have the tools to remove the airbag)

wtf? why would the ones in the ranger that are exactly the same light up when you turn on the lights but the mustang don't?.....that's messed up.

Yeah, my 96 ranger did light up as well. I was wondering the same thing a while ago but wasnt really a big deal. I really never use the cruise anyway.
