I have a 96 GT and I wanna set it up for plain drag racing cuz thats what most street racing is and my car is auto so track is outta the question, I plan on installing a shift kit and 2600 torque converter cuz I plan on using it as a daily driver too, I also will put 4.10s in and PI swap the engine, does anyone know of any other mods that would be good for drag racing, including more engine mods since im gonna have my engine taken apart

Go with suspension mods if you want strictly drag.

You might want to consider a higher stall than just 2600. Go check out Modular depot forums there are a lot of people on there that have 3000+ on a DD. Do your reasearch on thoes before deciding on what stall you need/want. Plus if you don't already have a trans cooler get one, you will defently need it when you install the higher rpm stall.
