Default Whats so much better about Accufab?

So I was just wondering why most (not all) people like to go with accufab brand on the tb/plenum combo. I have looked at the numbers for both accufab and c&l, and accufab is a lot more spendy than c&l. They both seen to put down almost the same numbers on the dyno. Also, if i went with a c&l plenum, what size (70 or 75mm) and brand tb should i got with? Thanks, please post what you think!

accufab has been dyno-proven to provide more horses (I think maybe 2-3 more, not huge). It's been done more than once, and I dunno where the results are published or whatnot, but I've seen them before. believe me or don't, I speak nothing but the truth. at least for one post...
Also, somebody on one of the other stang forums did a test and it turned out accufab was tops.

get the c&l plenum. Accufab is overpriced. yeah it's been tested a few places you can find on the internet and it came out on top, but can you really believe everything you read on the internet? all the aftermarket plenums are the same so find one for the best price and get it. as far as a throttle body bbk is a trustworthy brand.

not sure about mac, i don't know anyone who uses that throttle body. i know that bbk quality is alot better than mac. whats the price difference between the two? i'd feel safer going with bbk over mac. if the price difference is only like $50-60 definetly go with the bbk.

look on ebay, there's a c&l plenum and a 75mm bbk throttle body for sale. right now it's at $14. but i bet you can get it for around $225-250 at the end of auction.

check out muscle mustang and fast fords magazine from 2 months ago (if you can find one) it doesn't offer any real good power gains on our 96-98 cars. seems kind of pricey for the mod.

oh well I heard thats one of the best things you can do for the money for a 4.6 other than gears and pullies which i still plan on doing. But i am not positive on how much more the bbk runs than the mac. so i will find out and whenthe time comes, i will more than likely go with a 70mm bbk tb and c&l plenum. thank for all the advice.

Hey yo you should go with the accufab. You can find them for cheap alot of time on ebay or just someone selling it in the classifieds. You already know this free but i got my accufab plenum and T/B for like 300 off this site. oh yeah my car is faster than yours.
