Read above, I don't have a forged bottom end. No bottom end (and headwork) means you shouldn't go with stage 2s.

i think stage 2's and such perform much better when the heads are ported and you have a new intake manifold and such. i wonder how your car would perform to nitrous with those cams though, or even heads and intake manifold?

ok, say for example, my car is my daily driver. how do the stage 2's do with daily driven applications that anyone might know of? any overheating, car dieing too much.....etc.? i like the stage 2 but it only puts out another 5 hp over stage 1

I think cams are the most worth-while mod out there next to exhaust. I love the sound of a cammed car ideling.
When code posted that video of his car omfg WOW i too LOVE the sound of a cammed car so nice !!

will ported heads, springs and stage 1 cam put out just as much as a stage 2 unported. i like the stage 2 but it takes off too late and i like to have some of my power down low. what do you guys think? plus i dont plan on rebuilding the shortblock anytime soon. btw this is with the PI heads. thanks

What do the number mean for lift intake, exhaust duration like:

224 intake/232 exhaust @ .050 characteristics, life intake .500

???

DILO2000GT, I found a link of a guy with stage 1's on another one of my forums. Trust me, I was worried about the same thing with the stage 1's, the sound. And trust me the stage 1's sound great, I am planning on stage 1's this spring after hearing that clip.

So what about blown cars? Any cam recommendations? I was looking at VT stage II blower cams but I'm not looking to completely lose my low end.
