Ive ran too vette's a 98 conv and a the year before they changed the style not sure of it.. but i pulled like 2 cars on the older one and the 98 was a buddies and we were bumper to bumper til about 70 75ish then he just left me

Hahaha, maybe a v6. I raced an auto lt1 94ish year... like i said 65-115. I was completely stock and only pulled 1/2 car after 100mph. Cant say he was a ****ty driver... it was an auto and a roll.
Way to many factors... maybe you should learn about something before you speak. What year/model mustang do you have.

Do you have any mods on the stang? I would like to think I am a better driver but I think the mods were the reason mainly the 373 rear. I do think the one big curve scared him, It seemed like I got back hard on the throttle faster than he did, and he never did pick up that margin. My car is 2002 GT air intake cooler, ATS chip ( a good one that works with the factory one ) dyno dual exhaust, tri ax shifter, brand new goodyears all the way around. I do like your idea... I f------ out drove him...LOL

CZ don't get your panties up in a jam. It's ok, I'm sure your stang is much faster than any LT1. If you raced a 1991 or older Vet (which looks exactly the same as a 94) then you should have won since the 1991 and older Vets have the L98 motors which are only 250 HP. In 1992 Chevy came out with the LT1 which produces 300 HP stock and will beat most Mustangs. My LT1 only has exhaust and recently walked all over a modified 2003 Cobra. His was stick and mine is auto, so maybe I out drove him. Oh, by the way, my Stang is a 02 GT 5 speed with Flowmasters. Thanks for asking!

i know a coulple of guys, one has a modded 99 z28 and the other had a relatively stock early 90s vette. they raced to one guys house a few miles away and the z28 held his own at the start, but the vette ultimately pulled away and was sitting at the house when the z28 pulled up. in the 1/4 they would be an even race but the vette pulled harder up top than the camaro did.
