I'm getting frpp 3.73s and thats final... i drive too much hwy to listen to the 4.10 drone!!! Though its not much better tgan my stock 3.55s :-p
you aren't going to notice much of a difference going from 3.55 to 3.73. might as well not get gears at all at that point.

with stock tire size and 3.73 you're running at @ 2,450 RPM at 75 mph

with stock tire size and 4.10 you're running at @ 2,700 RPM at 75 mph.

at least get 3.90..........i used to think the same thing about gears 4.10 will suck on the highway....but nanaki showed me the way. and then i drove my buddy's 5.0 with 4.10 on the highway and i saw there was a difference but not so much of one.

i'm only getting 3.90 because i'm going to get a kenne bell.

ouch! if i were to get a KB, i'd love my 3.73s. since i'm vortech'd, i wish i didn't listen to the fuddy duddies on here about gas mileage, highway driving and forced induction related to gearing. 3.73 for highway driving and supercharged car is such a rock. those people that say that, 95% of the time have never been in a car with 4.10 or 3.73s or even have it done themselves.

So a vortech and 4.10s is not a problem at all? Why is it a problem if you get KB though?

because with a KB, you're making tons of boost as soon as you hit the gas. with a vortech or any other centrifugal style supercharger, you aren't even begining to make boost until you hit about 3000RPM.
