Default need help about mass air meter asap

im wanting to buy a c and l 85mm mass air meter for my 2000 gt and guy says it will not work because it's a 6 wire and mine is a 4 wire is this true and if so is there anyway i can modify it to work? he says it works on 01 models and up Thanks leave some posts asap if you know!

In '01, the intake air temp sensor was integrated into the maf sensor. I'd keep looking for one made for your car.

I found this one on ebay. It will direct bolt up to your stock system and they can calibrate it for you if necessary. They offer any one of three sizes for the same price. I recommend no larger than 85mm unless you're planning on FI later.

in my stang, the IAT sensor was located in the maf.. so i cut the wires on the plug and ran it to the IAT sensor after the aftercooler. was real simple, took less than 10 minutes. so all you would have to do is just keep it like that and it should work. real simple install.
